Page 268. The trail was greatly improved in the fall of 2023. The trail surface was raised in many sections with ditching on both sides to improve runoff, new bridges and boardwalks were built, and 2 new outhouses were added at the parking and at Shepherd’s Hut. The Sheila Lake backcountry campground was expanded to 20 sites with new tent platforms, cooking shelters, outhouses, and bear cache. The sites are located around 3 sides of Sheila Lake with plenty of space between them.
